Q: Why
Parklane Lodge?
A: We are a small lodge with a maximum occupancy of 22
beds/guests at any point in time, housed in a newly
refurbished double storey detached house situated along one
of the two main roads that lead straight to the city center
(approximately 10 mins by foot to the city center).
The Lodge has a large compound, a lovely garden and a
Balinese inspired fish pond next to the timber decks,
perfect for outdoor entertaining and/or barbecue. We are
probably the only lodge in Sarawak/Borneo that has a large
garden/fish pond!
The inside of our lodge is clean, neat, homey and
comfortable with a large lounge/reading area coupled with
cable TV, DVD, free WIFI, spacious dining area and a full
facility kitchen.
As an added security, the Lodge is only accessible to
in-house guests who are issued with security access card to
the front door.
Q: How do we book your Lodge?
A: There are 2 ways to book us; the first way is to book us
online by clicking on ‘Book Now’ at the bottom front page of
our website. The second way is to book direct with us
through phone or email us by clicking on ‘Contact us’
located at the top right hand corner of the front page of
our website.
Q: Are we required to pay a deposit with each booking?
A: Yes, if you book direct with us, you will be required to
pay a 10% non refundable deposit with the balance 90%
payable when you check in at our Lodge.
Q: How do we pay this 10% deposit?
A: You can secure your booking by banking the 10% deposit to
bank account under the name:

at Jalan Tar, Kuching, Sarawak
Q: Any other payments required?
A: There will be a RM50.00 refundable deposit payable by
each guest upon check- in, which will be refunded upon
check-out.
Q: What’s the check-in and check-out time?
A: Check-in is at 2pm and Check-out at 12pm. Later check out
times are subject to availability, so if you require a later
check out time, please make an early enquiry to avoid
disappointment. You are welcome to store your bags with us
and welcome to relax in the common areas until its time to
say good-bye.
Q: Can we smoke within the guest house premises?
A: Smoking indoors (including the toilets) is not permitted
ay any time at Parklane Lodge. We invite guests to smoke
outside in the garden compound or on the upstairs balcony.
Q: What if I lose or damage the keys, access card, towels or
bed linen?
A: Access Card: RM30.00, Towel: RM20.00. Bed Linen RM80.00
In the unfortunate event of such mishaps.
Q: What if we need an extra bed?
A: We charge RM30.00 for an extra
mattress on the floor BUT only subject to availability and
space allowance. This will also include breakfast for the
additional person.
Q: Are towels and bed linens provided?
A: Yes, bed linens such as sheets, pillowcases and blankets
are provided for all guests including towels free of charge.
Q: What about shampoo and soap?
A: Hair and body shampoo are provided for all guests in the
bathrooms/toilets. |
